Beginners really are welcome. You will not be thrown into anything you are not ready for. Classes start with movement basics, technique, rhythm, and partner drills.

Do I need any experience to start Capoeira?+
No experience is required. Our beginner classes are built for adults and kids who've never trained a martial art before. You'll learn the ginga (the base movement), a few kicks, and how the roda (the circle) works - all in a supportive, low-pressure environment.
What age can start Capoeira in Las Vegas?+
We teach kids as young as 5 and welcome adults of any age. Families frequently train together - we have parents and their children in the same academy on the same evenings.
How is Capoeira different from karate, taekwondo, or jiu jitsu?+
Capoeira is a Brazilian martial art that blends self-defense, acrobatics, music, and dance. Every class is played to live rhythm - the berimbau sets the pace, and students play each other inside a circle called the roda instead of competing head-on.
