Is Capoeira a good workout?+

One of the best there is. A single class hits cardio, strength, mobility, coordination, and balance. And unlike gym cardio, you're learning a skill and moving to live music the entire time.

How many calories will I burn?+

Most students burn 500–800 calories in a class. But the real payoff is what your body starts to do - hips open, spine unlocks, cardio jumps, coordination sharpens.

Is Capoeira like Zumba or dance cardio?+

No. Capoeira is a martial art with music. You're kicking, escaping, and playing another person - the fitness happens on top of a real skill.

Do I need to be fit to start?+

No. Capoeira scales up or down. You'll work at your level and you'll level up quickly.
