Our History
The Grupo Liberdade De Capoeira was established with the vision of creating a welcoming atmosphere for Capoeira experts around the world. A highly respected figure in the Capoeira community, Mestre Cigano began his journey over 30 years back. His devotion to the sharing and education of the art of Capoeira led to the creation of a number of chapters all over the world, like our Las Vegas Capoeira Academy.
Since its inception, GLDC has been attempting to encourage a feeling of belongingness among its members. We feel that Capoeira is more than mere physical exercise but a means to connect, celebrate diversity, and boost cultural awareness through seminars, gatherings, and fitness classes. And we invite people from all over the world to add to our rich history and traditions.

Contra Mestre Macaco
With more than fifteen years of experience, Contra Mestre Macaco is recognized for his dynamic teaching style and his in-depth understanding of Capoeira techniques. Contra Mestra Amazonas
