ABOUT OUR CAPOEIRA SCHOOL
Las Vegas Capoeira Academy stands as the leading Capoeira school in Las Vegas, offering classes for all ages and skill levels. Founded in 2017 by Professor Viajante (“Traveler”), who has been teaching Capoeira in Las Vegas since 2014 as the leader of the local chapter of Grupo Liberdade De Capoeira (GLDC). Viajante began his Capoeira journey in 2004 under the guidance of his mentor, Mestre Cigano, the founder of GLDC. With Mestre Cigano’s support, Viajante has taught numerous students, guiding three groups through their first cordel (“cord”) and beyond. His passion for Capoeira drives his commitment to fostering growth and community, making Las Vegas Capoeira Academy a welcoming space where everyone can train, learn, and experience the rich culture of this unique art form.
